- Tell-Em Public Relations worked with AccessKenya from June 2006 – December 2007. During that time we moved AccessKenya from the perception of low key player in the Kenyan ICT sector to the market leader for ISPs.
- We implemented campaigns for various product launches including – Go, Yello, BB Max 1 & 2 and Bundu – the VSAT product.
- In eighteen months we generated 240 media hits, (aside from the IPO campaign) across a wide range of media at a value of US $211,314.
- For the IPO campaign from February to June 2007 we generated 273 media hits at a value of US $ 154,634.
Milestones of Success
- Now seen as the market leader in the ISP field.
- Leads the way in market leadership in media coverage (closest competitor has 69 media hits for 2007).
- IPO was oversubscribed by 370%
- AccessKenya achieved its target of 1800 customers for 2007. By December 2007 the group had 1950 customers.
- AccessKenya Managing Director Jonathan Somen has a much bigger corporate profile. He is sought after by the media for comment on the ICT sector and he is seen as one of Kenya’s leading CEOs
